Introduction to Youth Work (ABC Awards)

laurel award-lttA three unit entry level course designed for those who are volunteers within a youth work setting. The programme is delivered locally and is suitable for both adults and young people who are taking a leadership role in their youth club.

Level 2 Award and Certificate in Youth Work Practice (ABC Awards)

These qualifications are designed to support the skills and knowledge needed to become a competent Assistant Support Youth Worker. Learners must be working in a youth work environment under supervision.

Those who achieve the ABC Level 2 Award in Youth Work Practice may wish to complete additional units to achieve the ABC Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work Practice.

Assessment is through successful completion of a portfolio of evidence demonstrating competence of skills and knowledge.

 

 


 

 

level3Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Youth Work Practice (ABC Awards)

These qualifications are designed to support the skills and knowledge needed to become a competent Support Youth Worker. Learners must have substantial experience of practice in a youth work environment and working under supervision but is in a position to lead on some youth work activities.

Assessment is through successful completion of a portfolio of evidence demonstrating competence of skills and knowledge.
