by in Lifetrain Blog

‘This was a great experience and challenge which was thoroughly enjoyable.  The group got on really well, we had a lot of fun and celebrated with a memorable meal in Paris.’

‘I joined the riders for the cycling tour from Box Hill (Surrey) to Paris. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and the camaraderie with the other riders of all ages. This was my first cycle tour and it has encouraged me to do more in the future.’

“This was the longest ride I have ever attempted by far and I wasn't sure how I would do.  However the fantastic support provided by Lifetrain and the help, encouragement and tips from my fellow riders made this challenging event, enjoyable and gave me a great sense of achievement."

‘What a blast. It was the first time I had done such a big cycle challenge and it was one of the best things I have ever done too. I loved every moment. It was so well organised, I didn't have to think about a thing, just cycle. sue gave me plenty of ideas on fund raising, which worked out well. I would recommend to anyone who wants to have fun, get fit and make a difference to come along on the next cycle adventure. I promise, you will get to see some amazing countryside, meet lovely supportive people and do something for others that changes lives.’

‘OMG – planning and organising the BoxHill2Paris ride was a phenomenal task, especially as I was not such an experienced rider myself – so lots of lists were involved and then Sense Checks! In the end everything worked exactly to plan – well, apart from the route maps J but the guys soon took over that. The ride was exciting, hard, bonding and fulfilling.  It was such a thrill riding the last leg and seeing the Arc de Triomphe coming into view – a really proud moment for all of us.  Can’t wait to do it again!

Planning for 2014 is well underway and the excitement is back – I can feel it in my bones – this is going to be great!
